Health ministry consulting

The church seeks to improve the health of its congregations not only spiritually but mentally and physically.  To that end, church-established Health Ministries are growing in popularity and need.

A health ministry is a recognized team of people who sponsor regular educational events and experiences that promote well-being. The health team may also provide opportunities for the congregation to have their health concerns answered through surveys and/or holding regular health team meetings that are open to the congregation.

Some churches host a series of activities that serve as informal health ministries.  Examples of these activities can include: educating your congregation on health through hosting speakers, holding an annual health fair; providing opportunities for physical activity, including health messages in your bulletin; providing transportation to the doctor for your elderly members; or having literature posted in a common area on a health issue.

The Renaissance Health Collective offers a full continuum of services related to establishing, growing and sustaining a health ministry. These services include, but are not limited to, planning, recruiting, and training ministry participants.

Speaking engagements

The Renaissance Health Collective has an established speakers’ bureau on topics related to health, healthcare, and the role of health ministries.  The Founder and CEO, Dr. Jennifer B. Campbell, is a lead speaker in the bureau.

Dr. Campbell is adjunct faculty at the George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Maryland. Her research has focused on increasing access and reducing disparities in underserved populations. She is also published in and serves as a reviewer for several peer review journals as a recognized expert in these subjects. Dr. Campbell serves on the Board of Directors for three nonprofit organizations.

Dr. Campbell completed her Master of Divinity degree at Yale University. Her focus is on ministry to the marginalized and expanding the role of the church in addressing human rights issues, specifically the right to quality healthcare resources. She is a Fellow of the Yale Program for Medicine, Spirituality, and Religion.

Examples of speaking engagement topics include:  health and wellness issues related to specific community areas; prevention measures for the top 5 diseases; an overview of current health-related legislation, the importance of the connection between spiritual and physical health, etc.

If you need a speaker on one of these topics or if your interest is not listed, please contact us, and we will put you in touch with an individual who best suits your needs.

information technology consulting

In recent years, churches have begun using information technology systems to assist in maintaining contact with and serving their congregations.  With a plethora of systems from which to choose, it can be a daunting task to choose what is best for your church.

The Renaissance Collective offers analysis and assessment of your Information Technology and Operational Technology.

Revenue generation and business developmenT

Our church partners have unique business models that TRC is adept at recognizing. Church membership has decreased by approximately 20% in the last 20 years.  This decline has had a significant impact on church revenue thereby leading churches to pursue means for revenue generation outside of tithes and offerings.

The Renaissance Collective has exceptional expertise in cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships with government and for-profit entities that may assist churches in establishing income-generating programs.
